The starting point is to design a guitar that looks like me.
Both modern and radical in its approach and look but also sober in a certain way in its presentation.
I wanted to make an object with harmonious lines with strong elements of design language in order to sign the object and give it a true identity.
The sharp cut on the top of the body and its recall on the neck head are part of these signature elements and also contribute to the ergonomics of the object. The microphones have graphics that animates this part and the treatment of buttons and mechanics is completely custom. Mechanical heads are treated like micrometric screws which reinforces this idea of high precision and a highly reliable object.
The name BLADE itself also refers to something very sharp and precise.
Obviously, each guitarist has these preferences but as far as I am concerned, it is really the design and configuration that suits me best.
For CMFs I chose a main version that creates the balance of perception level with design. I opted for a black but raw wood and a strong contrast for the cut with a more marked wood that underlines this element.
In total I offer 4 versions of finishes:
- Wood series, very natural
- Color wood series, with coated and treatments more visible on the wood
- Color series, with full, modern and sober colors.
- Graphic series, more exotic and for me which is also a form of tribute to the Ibanez JEM "swirl effect" that I love very much!
